Deporte en Mexico

Football, Boxing, Baseball, Basketball, Golf, Wrestling, Bullfighting, and Charreria are the most popular sports in Mexico with Football (soccer) being the most popular followed by boxing. Charreria is a sport made up of different horse-riding events. There are many other sports that are played in Mexico but these are the most popular and are considered "National" sports. They also play racquetball, rugby, tennis, polo, and "Futbol Nortemericano".

Charreada is one of the national sports of Mexico, it is a few horse-riding events. This reminds me of a rodeo common in the Western parts of U.S. . The most common and popular event is the charreada which is a kind of rodeo made by the people of Mexico who wanted to keep the traditions of the charro (horseman or cowboy of Mexico) alive. Honestly I think that the next sport I am going to mention is quite brutal and unnecessary. The Spanish that colonized the Mexico area brought their sport of bullfighting overseas to Mexico, and has been popular there for around 400 years. Their Football (soccer) they have been playing since the early 1920s. The Apertura division begins in the middle of Mexico's summer and ends before the official start of winter. The Clausura division begins during the New Year, and ends in the spring season. The Rest of the sports I have mentioned are well known in the United States and I think that I would be simply saying common knowledge.
