I found out that in Mexico the Nissan, and the Volkswagen (Chevrolet also does pretty well) car companies are the most successful this is due to a mix of affordability and practicality. They are generally pretty cheap, sometimes they even produce models from earlier years just to make them more affordable, these cars tend to be built sturdy and without some unnecessary luxuries. This makes them much more practical for a more general group of people.
Well another thing that I learned in this article is that Nissan has the most business in Mexico, over Japan and Korea even, I found this very surprising, I mean Mexico seems like such a random "pais," Not only are most of its residents considered "lower class" but I would guess that they would be able to sell more vehicles "en los Estados Unidos," Since we have much more people and on average; more money to buy different kinds of vehicles. A more specific model of Nissan that is doing very well in Mexico is called the "Tsuru" a very big reason of why this car has been so successful over other models is that it is very popular with taxi companies, which if you go to Mexico taxis seem to be all over the place, well I suppose it depends on where you go but Cancun, and "El Ciudad de Mexico" do in face have very many taxis seemingly everywhere. These cars last awhile since they are quite robust and are affordable for the same reasons that other cars do well in Mexico; they lack unnecessary things/luxuries that most Americans Take for granted or they think they "need".
